„Документи показва, че Валентин Терзиев е имал неправилна подготовка за полета, при който загина“, каза съпругата му Димитрина Попова. От фаталния инцидент по време на учение измина една година.
„Ръководството казва, че изпълненията над море са сложни условия. Конкретният пилот няма право на изпълнение на такъв полет към конкретния момент. Няма подготовката и допуска за изпълнение на задачата“, казва Попова, като се позовава на официални документи.
Тя допълва, че никой не я е информирал, а Попова не я е подала към прокуратурата, защото могат да си поискат тези документи по законен път от ВВС.
„Виновните за инцидента са много. Лицето, което е разписало изпита, листа за допуск, генерал Русев, който също е знаел какви са условията. И всички нагоре“, каза Попова.
В студиото на „Тази неделя“ Попова донесе посмъртните пагони на Валентин Терзиев, който издигнаха в чин майор след смъртта му.
„Искам министърът на отбраната и началникът на отбраната да сложат тези пагони в кабинетите си и да ги гледат всеки ден. Да им напомнят какво трябва да им осигурят на тези момчета. Не искам тази смърт да е една от многото безсмислени такива“, каза Попова.
